The base of Mr Swagman's roof top tent is a coated marine ply board measuring 1.6m
wide by 2.2 meters long, which allows a full size mattress to sleep on, as well as
adequate room to store items along side the bed. The roof top tent weighs
approximately 55kg.
When unfolded, the side of the tent provides a large covered ground area of 2.1
meters wide by 2.2 meters long, which offers a very usable area for protection from
sun or rain. This covered area keeps you safe from the elements while changing and
climbing the ladder into the upstairs bedroom.
To this large covered side area, zips Mr Swagman's optional side room, which is
a fully enclosed canvas walled room. Two or three extra people can comfortably
sleep in this side room and it can also be used for dinning in, away from flies
and insects, or can be used as a change room for complete privacy.
To the rear of the standard roof top tent, zips a large awning measuring 3.7m
wide and 2.4 meters deep - just perfect for covering the rear of your vehicle. This
large covered area is ideal for shade and prevents rain from getting into the rear
of your vehicle while unloading your camp gear. |
