Mr Swagman Deluxe
 Mr Swagman's Deluxe swag is the ultimate in comfortable bush camping.
The Deluxe swag features high grade aluminium poles at
each end, which are shot-corded with elastic to prevent
loss. The poles are stored in a canvas sleeve in the swag
when rolled up.
Mr Swagman has selected the finest quality canvas for
use in his swags. The canvas is a 100% cotton fabric that
offers maximum breathability, is rot resistant, mildew
resistant, U.V. stabilized and waterproof. The canvas
is a 15 ounce rip stop, heavy-duty material that is the
ideal choice for use in Australia's extreme conditions.
Mr Swagman has chosen to use a 'Desert Sand' colour canvas
for its cooling qualities and its Australian outback rugged
image.
Once the aluminium poles are inserted into the canvas
sleeve, a quick and simple pin-in-socket system keeps
them in place. Then it's just a matter of hammering a
single peg at each end to hold your swag up nice and taught
to prevent canvas from touching your body.
The Deluxe swag allows top entry via the full length canvas
and mesh covers; or head end entry via the opening canvas
and mesh head windows. The head end entry is convenient
to keep your bedding dry during rain.
The Deluxe swag features a full length, removable canvas
cover to reveal a full length sand fly proof mesh to allow
maximum ventilation.
To provide superior flow through ventilation the Deluxe
swag includes head end and foot end mesh windows and storm
covers - both of which can be operated from within the
swag, so there is no need to get out to close windows
if the weather should change over night.
Inside the swag there are two elastic pockets to hold
wallets, watches, phones and other small items.
Side and head end external PVC ground flaps are ideal
for standing on once your boots are removed to keep your
feet clean. These PVC flaps are then used to protect your
boots from rain and dew overnight. The double swag has
the PVC on both sides as well as at the head end.
A high density, 70mm egg crate style foam mattress, with a removable
cover is included in the price of all Mr Swagman swags. They provide
maximum comfort by preventing the user from touching the ground,
ensuring a good nights sleep.
These foam mattresses incorporate ‘Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial
protection’ – resists mould, mildew, bacteria, odours
and dust mites, which are triggers of allergies and asthma.
