Canvas Reproofer
If you have an old canvas swag, tent, awning or any other canvas product of any brand that needs re-water proofing, then Mr Swagman’s reproofer is just the product to restore the waterproof qualities.
Mr Swagman’s easy spray applicator reproofer is simply sprayed onto your canvas product and when dried will restore the waterproof qualities of all canvas camping and work gear.
As well as the water repellent qualities, Mr Swagman’s canvas reproofer also helps to repel oils and retards the growth of fungus, bacteria and mildew.
Mr Swagman’s reproofer can also be used on Akubras (or any other type of felt hat), suede or sheepskin product that needs waterproofing.
If you have a Mr Swagman swag or thinking of purchasing one, you do not need to waterproof it when new – it’s already set to go and will remain water proof for many years. This reproofer is only needed for old canvas products that need reproofing.
If you have a newer swag and have had to clean a patch by hard rubbing or through using soaps or solvents, you may have removed the waterproof qualities and your canvas will need reproofing.
One 375ml bottle is enough for a single swag with plenty left over. A double swag may require a second bottle to allow full coverage top and bottom.
For maximum coverage be sure to set the applicator nozzle to a fine spray to avoid wasting the liquid. Be sure to shake the bottle thoroughly, ensuring any sediment is totally mixed in before spraying.
Simply hold the applicator about 250mm (10 inches) away and spray the reproofer onto your product, allow to dry thoroughly and your product will be as water proof or better than when new.
